Continuations of terrible days
Terrible day at work with some good points. We started the evenue generation on telephone line (thats the good thing) but part of our network was down for 5 hrs (thats the nightmare). Otherwise things are ok...heard the news that entire IT team in delhi airport got the sack.

Day full of work pressure. Airlines have to be shifted from one terminal to another terminal before 20th. Thats almost 17 airlines. i dont know how it is going to happen but as Lord Alfred Tennyson wrote in his poem 'Charge of the light brigade' , 'theirs is not to reason why but to do and die' so we just go ahead and do it but i guess next 2 week are going to be like this.
On home front, my elder daughter's schools started today( she is in 5th grade) amidst the rains. It is still pouring cats and dogs and this is supposed to be just the start of monsoon seas

Start of the Chutney
Hi
This is my first blog on 08th June of 2008...quite late into the world of blogging, considering the fact that I am an IT guy. But still, better late than never. Today being a sunday, i just lazed around the house and am now watching euro 2008 (match between austria and croatia).
Let me tell you about myself. I am from Mumbai, India. 40 years of age and working in a company as Head of IT. Am married (wife is a home maker) with 2 daughters. Firstdaughter is 9 years old and the second is 4 years.
Originally from Delhi where I was educated, (schooling, B.Sc, M.Sc, PGPM) but got transferred to mumbai in 1996. From then on I am a Mumbaite.
As you can see, have just started and not good at blogging but guess i will improve over a period of time.
It is 11pm and time to sign off...the Austria-Croatia match is still going on. Will watch it and go to sleep.
